Riverside Community College District | Riverside, CA

  • Collaborated with Subject Matter Experts and the Office of Distance Education of the Riverside Community College District to design short courses for badging.
    • Analyzed content to identify instructional objectives.
    • Designed assessments and learning videos and activities.
    • Developed eLearning modules using Articulate Storyline.
    • Implemented the module in the Canvas LMS.

★ Nominated to the Service Excellence Award – Teams for my contributions to the implementation of FIU’s new online professional development platform – FIU Develop, now hosting 250+ courses.

  • Provided leadership in establishing instructional design policies, procedures, practices, and using instructional technologies.
    • Created documentation, worksheets, and structures to guide instructional design work, quality assurance, and reporting.
  • Helped design interview questions and participated in interviewing instructional designers.
  • Coordinated the work of and collaborated with subject matter experts, instructional designers, graphic designers, and LMS admins in the design of 40+ online courses experts via online communication and collaboration technologies.
    • Provided consultation on targeting real-world goals, designing authentic assessments, aligning objectives and learning activities, using instructional technologies, and designing tests and surveys.
